New Poetry by B.Z. Niditch

RIMBAUD'S TIME AWAY

Snow kisses
even in the desert
alphabet of words
on your foreign tongue

the sun consumes you
by a ripened earth
a revolver
by blank pages

an exile
as all oppressed
with inquisitive
olives

overlooking
pictures
and long prayers
of the departed.
