New Poetry by Stuart Barnes

Hourly I wake,
crave and roar,
nurse myself, shit,

sleep, then dream
A revelation,
A thirty-three

-year-old miracle
severing
psychiatry’s

funiculus,
depriving
involution,

effacing
the universe’s
most God-awful

transgression.

Miserere nobis!
Miserere nobis!
Miserere nobis!

Miserere nobis: Have mercy upon us

An amazing guttural roar of a poem! Love it.
