Dream from the Edge I
Not so long ago, border
collies of Maneotis herded
sheep along this road.
Now the pine fences
have fallen, broken
down to slivers.
The wind blows west,
but the trees lining
the field lean eastward.

Malcolm Glass has published fourteen books.
