When
the clock catches up
For J.S. i.m.
perhaps
Time
rips through the flesh
Remorselessly
– blind in blood
Bricks
- mortar - stone
Remain…. Still remain
Girls
in their youths colour
Breath
life
The
boys in their idealism
Divine
the path
Endings
are an impossibility
Yet
find a way
Another
way
An
undiscovered way
‘Be
calm. God awaits you at the door.’ *
